A Little About Me – Real Experience, Not a Big Agency
I'm a mum who started learning website design and SEO while at home with my little one. What began as an attempt to improve our own family business website turned into something I really enjoyed and wanted to learn more about.
We'd previously paid for a website, but it wasn't bringing us the results we'd hoped for. I started looking into how websites work, how Google finds them and what I could do to improve things myself. Little by little, I began teaching myself about website design, writing content, local SEO and the different ways businesses can improve their online presence.
It wasn't something I learned overnight. I've spent time researching, trying things out, making changes and learning along the way. As I started to understand more, I could see how important it was to have a website that not only looked good but also gave customers the information they needed and helped them find the business online.
That experience inspired me to start helping other small businesses who might be in a similar position. I know that running a business can be expensive, and getting a website sorted can feel overwhelming when you don't know where to begin. Sometimes, you just need someone who is happy to listen, explain things simply and help you take the next step.
I'm not a big agency, and I won't pretend to know everything. I'm self-taught and still learning as I grow, but I genuinely enjoy what I do and take pride in putting time and care into each project. I understand how much a small business means to the person behind it, because I've experienced that myself.
My aim is to make website design and the basics of SEO feel a little less daunting, with a friendly, personal approach and no confusing jargon or unrealistic promises.
If you're a small business owner looking to get started online or improve your existing website, I'd love to hear what you have in mind. You don't need to have everything figured out before getting in touch. Sometimes, the first step is simply having an idea and working out where to go from there.
